The Abbey Company is a privately-held real estate investment and management firm founded in 1990 by Donald G. Abbey to acquire and manage value-added real estate investments for its own account. Since inception, The Company has acquired a diverse commercial real estate portfolio in Central, Southern and Northern California. The Company brings a unique and focused owner/operator perspective in identifying investment opportunities and executing management and leasing strategies to enhance asset value, generate attractive investment returns and maximize operating cash flow. Having successfully executed its business plan, The Company has grown its current portfolio size to over 64 properties encompassing over 6.0 million square feet and approaching 1,400 tenants. The Company's gross asset value is now approximately One Billion Dollars. In early 2006, The Company formed a joint venture with an institutional pension fund manager to form Abbey-Properties III Fund Number One LLC ("Fund One") with approximately $70 million in committed equity capital.

The Company is dedicated to controlling all facets of its business. The Company's management team has substantial experience in acquisitions, dispositions, property and asset management, tenant marketing and leasing, development, financial management and information systems. The Company has a senior management team of 8 professionals and over 75 employees. In addition, Nittany Lion Landscaping Services ("NL Services"), a licensed contractor and affiliate of The Company employs over 120 people and has a 15 year history of supplying The Company's portfolio with quality property-level services and tenant improvements within a quicker time frame, and at a significant cost savings over other service providers.
